This has been a time of contemplation, changes….I had a birthday 11/16. A group of friends/family I call the 11/16 Society, also celebrated as well. We few, happy few…I hope you all will search out some of the posts about this unique crew. Happy birthday my dearly loved band of brothers. And blessings to all of you who seek light in the darkness and who give light.

Alone at my post –
My Household snug in warm beds.
Neighborhood silent.
Warmly wrapped I gaze
At the night sky. The Twins
Glow and pulsate to
Their own stellar beat.
Fireworks stream against the black
Sky. Celebrating
Celestial joy.
White yellow blue red green – My
Eyes cannot follow
The steady bursts of
Glitter strewn by their Maker
To dazzle the few
Like me who look
For joy and light in the dark
Places – and find it.

Be ye fishers of men. Still so many people who need to know this saving grace, this awakening.

I enjoyed the plane trip with Itoshi….Dr. Yamato. Like you he spoke of battling arrogance…because he is “small”, Asian instead of Indian, he is often ignored. He loves America but Tampa was not a good fit for him. He interviewed in Charlotte and Boston, determined to take the first offer. He feels Boston Jtown and proximity to NY will be good. I told him I would pray for him. He nodded and said as an oncologist, he heard that a lot and felt it did much good. I showed him the video and told.him who had sent it and why – birthday- and spiritual burden for his country. He went to university of London and obtained his MD there as well! Small world. We began talking because he saw me watching “Welcome to Tokyo”. He is a fan. It was a pleasant encounter and a seed was sown. He seems a fine man – courteous, modest, dry wit, soft spoken. And he said he liked “American” women because they aren’t spoiled and high maintenance. I had to laugh. We promised to keep in touch and he asked for prayer in this new life. Indeed, i had an email hoping my mother was doing better…If it takes hold, he will be a good sprout.

I find the meaning of his name interesting. It describes the essence of your encounter with him well.

I can’t find the meaning of it. If it means drop dead gorgeous, likeable, considerate, intelligent, caring….then it is spot on.

Nice try, but you fail.
Nov 30, 2013 @ 16:00:50
Okay, let me guess…his name means: Japanese doctor met on an airplane. Don’t make me beg. if I have to beg, Peter gets your root beer float lollipop.

愛しい: beloved, dear, loveable
大 “large, great” and 和 “harmony”
Thou shalt not tempt me with mere candy.
Nov 30, 2013 @ 21:12:48
Oh yes…and dark chocolate pineapple flavored coconut patties – mere candy indeed – your reward along with the lolli. I think the name fits him. Are you sure gorgeous wasn’t included?????

“Gorgeous”? Only in the King James version.
Dec 24, 2013 @ 20:32:35
King James was a wicked king and wouldn’t know gorgeous if it came up and slapped in the face with a chain mail gauntlet. > Date: Wed, 25 Dec 2013 00:17:59 +0000 > To: thspencer51@hotmail.com >
