Praying for the words of your haiku to come to reality in these parts as what looks like rain clouds are moving over head. We desperately need to rain. Have a good weekend, my friend. ❤

I hear the drought situation is horrible – beyond horrible. I wonder if the authorities will cut down on the 1% and their pools, water features, fancy car washing….it will be something to see. I fear for food production and how that will affect the farmers and those of us who buy the food. I certainly will pray for rain. And not mudslide rain, but nurturing rain. It seems to be part of a weather pattern. I can’t remember if it is los ninos or la nina….last year was a very dry summer for us and a very wet winter. I am thankful our water table is renewed from the drought of year before last.

soft word for soft rain 🙂 and it specifically means a soft rain in the spring, not in fall, winter, summer. The Japanese have specific words for seasons and events, animals, the sky, etc. in those seasons. Maybe I’ll do a post on it sometime. I am still trying to draw a dragon for you. I think SamCat could do a better job!

Thank you so much for nominating me! I really appreciate it. I stopped accepting awards a few months ago. But again, I do thank you for the nomination and for following my blog as well. I’ve been enjoying your posts very much. If this means you were also nominated for the Sunshine award and are passing it on, congratulations to you! 🙂

I decided to keep one award though and post it. The Inner Peace Award. it was given to me by Clowie over at Clowie’s Corner. She is a great Prenees (I know I spelled it wrong) dog whose bipeds actually live in spain. She writes about her adventures, animal welfare (such as the horrible civet cat poop coffee that is so stylish now), puppy socialization, etc. She is one of my best friend bloggers. She gave me the Inner Peace award because she said she felt peaceful when she visited my blog. It made a great impact on me. It is how I want people to feel – peaceful, happy, informed, welcomed…..so I keep that one and keep it posted to me as a reminder of why I blog – because I love it and it gives this frustrated writer an outlet. I stopped accepting because of some ugliness from some people to whom I gave awards. I just didn’t want to bring that out of people and so…..we all have our reasons. You can read my post about awards, accept or not? Again, I do thank you.
