Carpe Diem Tan Renga Challenge #70

The challenge today was to add on verses to a haiku – a renga.
The original haiku is by our host and evokes a lovely peaceful image:

Uchu no take ni suzume (Sparrows and rain)

I am a sucker for the sparrows. When I was at Ryoanji, it was a first snow. A whole row of the little things were sitting on the wall, all puffed up, eyes bright. The Japanese do such lovely works of art of them. Thank you!
