Another Quadrille for De’s word prompt of “Spill” over at dVerse. https://dversepoets.com/2016/06/13/quadrille-11/
Stars
spilling across the night sky
stars –
we can look at the blackness
still see the light –
there is a star for each of us
a bit of silent music
a blithe spirit of hope
a reminder that no matter what
we all are one

Oh, I love the sentiment here. Thank you for reminding me.

Aren’t the stars beautiful, shining like diamonds in the darkness! 🙂 Love this one!
Jun 14, 2016 @ 14:37:12
Yes! Thank you!
Jun 14, 2016 @ 00:45:51
Oh I know how you love the stars… Love that there is a star for each of us.
Jun 14, 2016 @ 14:35:58
I like to think there is. It gives me hope and light.
Jun 14, 2016 @ 01:05:19
GORGEOUS. I love spilled stars, so much. And your spilled words.

Thank you. A beautiful reminder that the world seems to need at the moment.

Thank you so very much

Gorgeous, Toni. I love star gazing. When we were in Italy for my daughter’s wedding, my father-in-law, who is 84, insisted we look for the international space station, which he kept calling ‘play station!). He even has an app to tell him when it’s visible. While everyone was waiting for the space station to show, i enjoyed the stars.
Jun 14, 2016 @ 14:33:20
LOL, play station. I kept up with it myself. The newscasters on one of the local stations would let us know every evening where it was and when was the best time to see. Fun!

Love, love, love this! Yes, I love stars too 🙂
Jun 14, 2016 @ 06:53:08
Yes to this one, too!
Jun 14, 2016 @ 12:29:44
One star per dance — one star per person — and all in the one sky! 🙂
Jun 14, 2016 @ 14:28:18
Yes. All of us together hopefully sharing our light.. .
Jun 14, 2016 @ 15:00:50
So glad you took this to the heavens, to the heights–freeing us a bit from the density of all that is happening down here.
Jun 14, 2016 @ 15:13:04
Yes, to the stars. One for each of us, each of us do have our own bit of light to shine in the darkness.
Jun 14, 2016 @ 17:02:21
Yes, the Milky Way spilled across the sky…and we can shine like diamonds!
Jun 15, 2016 @ 06:34:13
Love this! ❤ It reminds me of my Cassiopeia. Ever since I started working oceans away, one look at Cassiopeia at night and I'm transported back at home. 🙂
Jun 19, 2016 @ 15:34:00
How lovely is that!
Jun 15, 2016 @ 14:13:39
