tiny rust flowers clamber
up to the blue sky
eager to see if autumn
has gotten closer to home

This is delightful Toni. Lately when walking the dogs I have noticed more and more plants, Vines and shrubs that intertwine. What a perfect symbol for diversity.

So that’s why vines climb! The fall colours are everywhere up here now.

here in NW WA state. Indian summer usually lasts until mid-October or later; nature has to rush the fall colors, and (thanks be to the weather sprites), usually winter is mild as well–just rainy.

Somehow, I had an image of a child peeling out of a darkened bedroom to check if Santa has arrived. 🙂
Sep 09, 2016 @ 22:00:26
“peeking” out… I am sorry for the wrong spelling.
Sep 09, 2016 @ 22:02:27
