December night sky –
snow like frozen stars silent
as dust falls to earth –
no wishes on these lost stars –
summer photo fades with time

Stellar! The last line does just what it is supposed to do.

Indeed that last line gives a meaning to the imagery… love it.

The stars might not be an encouraging factor for support. They are of divergent properties that make them different and difficult to read!

Time changes (and often takes away) so many things.

I wrote this last year when my mother was dying. Now my husband is not well so it is hard to be merry. But I am ever hopeful. Merry Christmas and New Year’s blessings to you.

Snow like frozen stars is my favourite line here. You did a wonderful job capturing the atmosphere – the sadness of fading and change
