Perhaps not a secret, but the primary ingredient to blossom your bliss (lover of winter) and to rattle the cage of my many winter’s discontent.

Aww, yes please. It would make my little boy so happy to get to play in it with his daddy, sisters, and friends. ❤

That snow will brighten the duns with white.

Snow covers the barrenness and puts a clean cloak on winter.

Only two colours, dun and white, but, like Shakespeare (“If snow be white, why then her breasts are dun”), you’ve painted a perfect picture, Toni.

Perfect for the prompt. What a choice background – “duns” – to foreground the missing ingredient.

The snow will come in the nap, mirroring the soft sleep. Such beauty in this and the perfect poem for Advent too.

Snowfalling is magical, snow on the ground 1st day magical, 2nd day fun, 3rd day… alright, but begone tomorrow please…

I actually love snow. We had hatsiyuki yesterday…Japanese for first snow. It is a holy and reverent time. Westerners often only think if snow as an inconvenience or after the first day, boring, cold, and messy.
