Rising Oceans
“I’m a radical environmentalist, I think the sooner we asphyxiate in our own filth the better. The world will do better without us. Maybe some fuzzy animals will go with us, there will be plenty of other animals, and they’ll be back.” – Anthony Bourdain

she’s pulled the blue from the sky
and is steadily painting the earth blue,
extending the oceans –
just a few tips of land for the few animals.
I say,
the sooner the better.

There are moments when I have to agree, Toni. But hope is a stubborn thing. Smiles.

I feel ya Toni. Yes a tip of land for the animals for sure. They deserve it!

Trump will be there on his yacht, saying the poles may have melted but deregulation is good for business.

    I hear you, Toni
But I hope we can come to our senses, be less selfish, and honour our planet. Perhaps then we may keep a little land for true lovers of how life should be.

I hear a lot of people sharing Bourdain’s views. The future does look bleak.

Really like the impression you’ve shared of this visual Toni. And I don’t completely disagree with Bourdain. I would let some humans stay, the ones that would learn to live in balance with the natural world, and get over that ridiculous religion-inspired notion of our “dominion” over this plant! What an asshat concept.

Makes me think of the movie Waterworld. Love the image. The thought is a big terrifying but I understand the sentiment.

This is beautiful! ❤️ I really hope mankind takes things into perspective before it’s too late to make amends.

Water is the source of all life… maybe it’s better to start all over again.

Humans really failed at the “dominion” thing.
