For Sherry’s Prompt at Real Toads, Wonder. I know few things more wonderful than trees and then it is trees beneath autumn skies. And the wonder of it all, they are free to us all. An American Sentence.

So beautiful, Toni. Fall colours are why this is my favourite time of year……….when I came through the mountains the other week, it was a feast of colour.

Autumn used to be my favourite season, but now when it arrives, I look forward to spring. Winter is unkind to the elderly in my family.

I am the only elderly member left in my small family. I get through the cold okay. I love fall and winter, a lot more than I do the hot summer

It makes you sigh when looking at it, doesn’t it? It does seem like an endless river.
I still say trees do not have hands, though.

I just returned from a three hours long roadtrip … the wonder of changing leaves, the pines dripping with rain, the river running along side us much of the way …. you captured all of this in a few perfectly chosen words.
