For Frank’s prompt at dVerse – Poetry Imitation. He wants us to imitate different forms of poetry. I am doing a second one in imitation of Ginsberg – an American Sentence.

“Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery that mediocrity can pay to greatness.”- Oscar Wilde

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery – oh how trite.

I read that as “tripe” … which still has me in fits of giggles.

Very nice imitation of Ginsberg’s American sentence. And Wilde.
