     Well friends, my like button stayed stable for posts up to 1 day ago.  After that…ker-SMASH!!!!

And my comments disappeared along the same time.  WP, if you are really really out, I and others need some triage on our like buttons and comments….pretty please?  Thank you.

 

“Like Button” being bad….again

Dear friends,

My like button is being bad.  I spent so much time reading and catching up to your posts and none of the “like”s took.  My friends Seeker and Belsbror have told me the same thing has happened to them and another friend at How the Cookie Crumbles (Let’s cut the crap) has also shared this with me.

I can’t get an answer or reason from WP and they are usually very helpful.  I’ll try again tomorrow on a different computer and see.

In the meantime, I LIKES you all….I appreciate your hard work, your posts, your sharing.  I’m not ignoring you, I just can’t get the bloody like button to work.

 

Catchin’ up is hard to do…

My dear friends, between life and adventures and hard times with my mother and studying for my licensure exam 09/06, I started taking small breaks to walk outside, check on my mom via phone, email/chat with a couple of my most excellent friends, and catch up on posts from folks I follow.

Well, I was able to go back, up to now, six days. Imagine my dismay when I realized all the likes I had put in on posts had all morphed to no status. The “liked” is now just “like”.

I apologize and can’t know what in the world happened. So at this point, I just wanted to post this. I went back six days and read and liked your posts and/or made comments. It won’t show but please know, I did this. I missed you all tremendously and enjoyed catching up. I am not enjoying seeing that “liked” disappeared.

I am going to be back posting and reading sporadically. Until my exam is over and until I get my mom moved from her nursing/rehab facility in Florida to her sister in TN, it will be sporadic.

Thank you all for your patience, kindness, comments, following during this chaotic time. You all are so good to me and I thank you. Again, thank you all for your prayers, kind thoughts, positive vibes, thoughts of light and comfort, kind words. I cannot say enough about this and how it helped/helps my mom and me.

You all are absotively the bestest!!!!!

Heartbreak….not really

Okay.  So today I received notification I had been “unfriended” by three people on Facebook.  Gee.  I am devastated.  I think the last time I went on Facebook was sometime early last year.  I thought I would have been exiled from Facebook by now.

Truthfully, I can only take so many pictures of grandchildren, the Christmas tree, OMG LOL look at this…., I’m sick and have diaria (at least spell it right), somebody I don’t know but who knows somebody that knows somebody, that knows somebody that knows a distant cousin wants to be my friend.  Wow.  I am complimented (not. LOL).  I don’t really care that 10,138 people in North Carolina are curious about how my Farm-something-stupid game is going and if I will trade a duck, tractor, shovel for a horse, barn, row of peas.  And RG3 (who?) and his knee.

Life is about what you do – not what you post on Facebook.  Take some time and personally email the people you REALLY want to see your new house with pictures of said house.  Instead of blurbing…Happy New Year to all of my 1,249 closest friends (gush, goo), call or email those truly dear to you and let them know you are thinking about them.  In the time it takes you to peruse several hundred useless daily posts, you can contact quite a few people.

Please Facebook….exile me.  I have important things to do folks!!!  Like doing this blog.  So……IMHO, BTW, OMG, LOLOLOL…..whatever.
