一つ星 Hitotsuboshi – a tanka

 

This is for a fairy tale couple:

 

Fragrant night white moon

Lush magnolia, fairy

Gardenia – stars

Earthbound, reflecting heaven

Breathing love, lighting the night.

    What a lovely thing to come back to! I love a poem that makes me pause and breathe, and I love this poem.

    どうもありがとうございました Welcome back. I am so glad this was here to greet you. I wrote it for a lovely couple that harkens me back to fairy tales, knighthood…..it comforts me to know such a love exists and is real.
